happy new year, everyone!

well, here it is. i had some extra time over the last couple of weeks and decided to upgrade the old site a bit. now, instead of a boring, static web site, you are now looking at a a blog that will develop and (hopefully) grow over time. my ultimate goal is to provide more of an interactive forum for the entire family (and any one else for that matter) to stay in touch.

let me just highlight a few things:

• in an effort to increase download speeds, i split the photo pages in two : recent photos and past photos. as i update galleries, older photos will be replaced and transfered to the past photos page.
• photos can easily be printed via your web browser : click “show picture in full screen”, then select the print function.
• at the bottom of the page, you will also find tags and category archives for posts.
• this site is designed to be interactive. feel free to comment at any time. if you do not have a wordpress account, you may have to register to do so. register for free here. better yet, just click”post comment” or “post reply” below.
• at the bottom of the page here and on the links page are direct links to some of my most-perused web sites for a variety of reasons. should you have some you’d like to add, feel free to contact me and i will look at putting the link here.
