Christmas, 2008
My, how time flies. Wasn’t it just a few weeks ago that I was posting pictures from July 4th? Certainly feels like it, that is for sure. This year, we made the migration east for Christmas. Without one issue or delay (which I am still amazed at), we arrived in Rhode Island late Tuesday the 16th for our first stop – Aunt Kelly and “Papa” Tim’s. We then made visits to La Salette, The Worcester Ecotarium, the backyard with about 12 inches of snow (see below), The Simmons’ house, and then back to the airport for a quick flight to Philadelphia. Mostly, the first set of pics include shots of all of the above.
After our quick flight, we arrived at Gramma’s house in Delaware a few days before Christmas. Here, the kids were spoiled rotten, participated in their first Yankee Swap, and received so many gifts, we needed to ship the whole lot back. Here are some of those pics as well:
All in all, we have a great time – though it was exhausting, I must admit! It was great to see everyone and make definite plans to get together with others sometime next year.
