Last Sunday, Courtney found out that we have a few thousand acres and a full-on nature preserve essentially in our backyard. So, we decided to load up the kids and check it out. Pulling in to the park, I was more impressed than I tought I would be. The place is clean, has both paved and dirt trails which are perfect for running or horseback riding, and is practically an untouched tract of land. This, of course, is something that you do not find all that often here in California.I truly felt like I had been transported to someplace else which is always a plus. The kids ran wild, and I just ran. A good time had by all. Here are the pics:
